AFLW on FOX Footy | TV Tonight

AFLW’s eighth season kicks off on FOX Footy this Friday night with Melbourne v Collingwood at Ikon Park.

The full home and away season, finals and grand final will be broadcast live this season.

Before the first bounce, Kelli Underwood, Lauren Wood and Ruby Schleicher will host a special AFLW 2023 Season Preview Show from 6.30pm on Friday. Guests include Swans superstar recruit Chloe Molloy, Lions premiership player and AFLW Best and Fairest winner, (now Hawthorn), Emily Bates plus her former Premiership coach Craig Starcevich and Ashleigh Saints, former Adelaide superstar now with Port Adelaide ahead of the Showdown in Round 1.

Fans are eager to see whether Melbourne go back-to-back, how far superstar Molloy can lift Sydney up the ladder, whether Adelaide and Brisbane will be at the pointy end again, or if the youthful Carlton team surprise a few teams along the way.

With all 18 clubs now boasting a team in the AFLW, interest levels are high for the upcoming season and will only get bigger as finals approach in November.

FOX Footy will broadcast the ‘Festival of Footy’ in Round 5, Indigenous Round in rounds 7 and 8, plus a Pride Round celebrating diversity and inclusion in Round 10.

Fox Footy’s call team is stacked with expertise and talent. Nobody knows AFLW like All-Australian defender Schleicher, while Western Bulldogs star Ellie Blackburn is ready to dominate both on the field and in the commentary box.

Call team: Ruby Schleicher, Ellie Blackburn, Hannah Priest, Sarah Hosking, Meg McDonald, Alicia Eva, Amanda Farrugia, Lara Antonio, Ben Dixon, Will Schofield, Andrew Krakouer, Tom Rockliff.

Callers: Kelli Underwood Adam Papalia, Jess Webster, Ben Waterworth, Jack Heverin.
